The focal for this handcrafted bracelet is an unusual pottery piece. Curved, creamy white, with a hand painted butterfly. I've surrounded it with an assortment of natural gemstones that coordinate with the focal's colors: chunky serpentine jade, chunky green aventurine, soft pink rose quartz, lively pink rhodonite, royal blue grade AAA lapis lazuli, Peridot Jade, plus blue and pink crystals. Assembled with vintage brass chain and beads.
The butterfly is a powerful symbol for transformation. It leaves the safety of the cocoon in it's new form. This is an excellent image for anyone contemplating, or in the midst of a major change. A butterfly is a strong symbol of metamorphosis, with distinct stages. The butterfly is a reminder to make changes when the opportunity arises. Change and transformation are inevitable for us all, but it does not have to be traumatic.
Note: If you find that you're a whacker and contantly smacking your bracelets against hard surfaces, please note that this focal is pottery. Though it is not delicate and is a sturdy thickness, one well placed blow could shatter it.
